Teak Conversions and PVC Upgrades

Mirror and Glassworx convert and upgrade old single glazed windows to new, high quality double glazed panels.

We upgrade most frames, including aluminium, timber, and PVC. For all upgrades and conversions, a site inspection is carried out and all the necessary measurements are taken. The glass panels are then cut to size in our workshop. Once ready your new window panels are installed in your home. Installations are usually completed within a day thanks to high skill levels of our fitters.

During the conversion process, the old glass and putty or beading is removed. The new panels are sealed with silicone both inside and out. This makes your new panels air-tight, increases security and provides a life-long seal. Outside your teak frames receive an undercoat of the relevant paint or stain to clean them up after the upgrade.

A-Rated Double Glazing

At Mirror and Glassworx we use Visatherm Elite A Rated Double Glazed units. This conversion system has bene used in Germany for over 25 years and we have wealth of experience installing them in Irish homes.
